Our Little Speakers program aims at developing children’s listening and speaking skills. The program begins with a higher emphasis on listening in which children will learn through modeling. Later on, students will be provided with ample opportunities to practice and apply their speaking skills through storytelling, conversation and presentations.

Objectives of this program:

  • To build on children’s vocabulary and English awareness through a higher exposure of English
  • To provide opportunities for children to present their ideas in English
  • To enable children to express themselves in grammatically correct sentences
  • To build up children’s confidence about speaking English by providing a positive learning environment

Activities within the program include: Story time & Discussion, Story Stone, Did you know, Show and Tell, Role-play Time, Creative Time, Mini Presenter, Partner Talk, Funny Event and Storyteller.

Each student will finish a workbook, receive a midterm evaluation and an assessment per term.

School level requirement: K.2 – K.3

Class size: 4 – 6 students

Class duration: 1 hour each lesson

Number of classes: 14 classes per term
